The Series
The Speedvision World Challenge series is North America’s
leading series for exotic production sports cars. The series pits
European marks such as Porsche and BMW against the “big iron” from North
America, the 8 liter Dodge Vipers, the Corvettes and the Mustangs, and
the best sports cars from Japan with the turbo charged Toyota Supra and
the Acura NSX. In 2001 Audi, Lotus and Ferrari will also participate in
the series.
In 2001 all races will be sprint races of under one hour.
All races will be televised by Speedvision and Fox Sports
Network.
Cars will start from a standing start in all races.
